I want to thank you for a wonderful Chocolate Tour this past weekend in New York City. I have to tell you that when my daughter, Trista and I originally booked our tour it was merely to “kill time” on Saturday afternoon before attending a show on Broadway that evening. However, we knew as soon as we entered the first boutique that this was going to be one of the highlights of our trip! Each boutique was unique and offered new information and delicious samplings. The staff at each shop was well trained, articulate and truly loved their chocolate and it really showed. It is difficult to describe how the atmosphere in each boutique added to the flavor of the chocolates and gave each chocolate a unique feel, not just in texture and flavor, but also in how we felt when we tasted it. Thank you again for turning our afternoon “time killer” into such a wonderful and memorable occasion.

We recommend this tour to anyone who is serious about chocolate. Our guide, Carmen, took us to some of the best chocolatiers in the city: Vosges Haut-Chocolat, Kee's Chocolates, Mariebelle and Jacques Torres. In each shop we visited, we were able to taste some of their specialty: truffles, molded or hand-dipped chocolates with dark chocolate ganache, creme brulee, spicy tortillas dipped in chocolate and the best hot chocolate we have ever had! We were in a small group of five people, which was very nice. The chocolate tour was certainly one of the culinary highlights of our trip to New York.
